Kindly is a technology provider that offers software infrastructure to nonprofit, charitable, and other mission-driven organizations, including organizations that are not classified as U.S. 501(c)(3) entities, and their partners such as Volunteer Management Systems (“VMSs”).
Kindly:
· does not operate as a charity or donor-advised fund;
· does not process payments or hold charitable funds;
· does not act as a payment processor or merchant of record.
Payments, donations, and treasury services are handled by partner organizations and regulated third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
2. How You May Interact with Kindly
You may interact with Kindly:
· directly, via Kindly-operated interfaces (e.g., donate.kindly.org); or
· indirectly, through an organization or VMS with which you already have a relationship.
Depending on the context, Kindly may act:
· as a data processor on behalf of an organization or VMS; or
· as an independent controller for limited platform-level purposes such as security, analytics, and service operation.
3. Information We Collect
a. Information Provided by Partner Organizations
Partner organizations or VMSs may share personal data with Kindly in a lawful and authorized manner, which may include:
· name, email address, or other identifiers;
· engagement, volunteer, or participation metadata;
· organization, event, or program affiliation.
Partner organizations are responsible for obtaining any required notices or consents.
b. Information You Provide Directly
When you interact directly with Kindly, we may collect:

· information you submit through forms or communications;
· identifiers required to provide the Services.
c. Automatically Collected Information
We collect limited technical and usage data, including:

Kindly does not use personal data for behavioral advertising.
